Friends arrive...

Brad sat on the couch, waiting. It was taking too long and he was beginning to get rather impatient. He had drinks in the fridge and some snacks. He'd been planning today, the first day of a three day weekend for weeks. He rarely had any time off and even more rarely had the organization or motivation to plan something like this in advance.

Finally, the bell rang.
